Grandma Kell’s Blueberry Crunch
Blueberry Crunch Dessert (from Grandma Kell)
A favorite of the Kell boys. From Grandma Kell's recipe book
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups flour sifted
- ¾ cup rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar don’t pack
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup 1 stick butter softened
- 1 can blueberry pie filling 1 lb, 5 oz blueberry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and mix well. Cut in softened butter and blend until particles are small and uniform. Put half of crumb mixture into ungreased 9 inch square pan. Cover crumb mixture evenly with pie filling. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 – 50 minutes. Serve warm or cooled.
Notes
Cherry pie filling may be substituted for blueberry.
